  • Oliver does an episode on Sackler family yet here appeals for big pharma blind trust.

  • "30% Republicans won't get it" As in, they don't nor will ever understand the benefits of health protection?

  • Tucker Carlson pretends that no one is allowed to ask if the vaccine is safe or how effective it is, that is superweird considering that information is easily available. No one is silenced here.

    • Pretending to be victims is about half of what they do.

  • If you heard a friend of a friend got into a car accident, would you stop driving or riding in cars?

  • Children make up 22% of the population? Isn't it a bigger long term demographic problem that there is only one child for each four adults in the general population?

    • @seigeengine how am I a Nazi? You kind of went off to left field there. And I mean WAY left. Are you familiar with Godwin's Law? You just proved it.

    • @Adam Walker I see we have a nazi on our hands. Also, that isn't what I said. So not only is it a nazi, it's an illiterate nazi.

    • @seigeengine which Western country has an excess birth rate? You pretty much have the middle east...and Africa.

    • While that's not relevant to the subject... no, not necessarily. You can simply, you know, have immigrants supplement natural-born citizens to maintain a strong population so long as migration to your country is desirable. The nazis will mind, but the nazis whine even when immigration is tiny, so fuck em.

    • @Adam Walker that's rather vague. i (can only) guess you're suggesting the birth rate needs to be above 2 for a stable population. yes? no? why are you talking about demographics when this is a video on vaccines?

  • It is not a vaccine.

    • here's your phd in medicine. obviously watching an alex jones video gave you more knowledge than the world's doctors and medical scientists.

  • First time I’ve wholeheartedly agreed with John Oliver.

  • I feel so weird. I got my two shots three months ago yet my balls got enlarged.

  • People have been microchipping pets for years, of course the tech is there.

    • If you don't think they have not developed better, stronger, and smaller chips by now. I feel sorry for you.

    • Have you ever seen the equipment used to microchip pets? The chip itself is pretty large, and the syringe needles are pretty dang big. It's not the kind of thing you can just slip by without someone noticing something was up, unless they've never been needled before.

    • The vaccine syringes are to small is the point you muppet

  • Had my 2 Pfizer Vaccine jabs and no bad side effects a bit of fatigue for 2 days after but otherwise fine

  • Cases does not equal deaths. India has had covid 443K deaths for a population of 1.4 billion people. This is converts to a percentage of 0.0316% Tuberculosis killed 4.40 million people in 2018. Bottom line is that if you are young and healthy, you should not fear. The key is to be fit and healthy. If you want to take the vaccine - take it. If you don't, that is OK too. My body my choice. My question is: why this paranoia about the unvaccinated? Unless the vaccines are complete duds.

    • @Jοe Biden great contribution.

    • @eeeaten At least I don't look at a screen all day and tell other people how to think.

    • @Jοe Biden uhh imagine being such a loser that you see someone responding to irrational nonsense and all you have to offer is insults.

    • @eeeaten Wow, imagine being that big of a loser where you look for people who have a different perspective and trying to "educate" them.

    • you are confused. cases do not equal deaths, of course. but by the same token population does not equal cases. we know the actual mortality rate from data from countries like new zealand, where they identify practically every case and track it to its outcome. early in the pandemic the death rate per infection was around 1.3%. with more understanding and better treatment the death rate has come down to around half a percent. that means if a million people are infected we could expect around 5,000 deaths. hospitalisations are much higher of course, around 5% of cases are hospitalised, about 50,000 people per million infections (assuming we have the capacity to hospitalise people).

  • Do Bill Gates' Microchips run Doom?

  • I got the vaccine in March, and found out today I have Covid. And I would do the exact same thing again.

    • The vaccines should make the symptoms milder than they otherwise would have been

    • Hope you get better quickly!

  • It’s gonna Circulate Anyway!!! Since you all clearly say it will still be passed between vaccinated and UNVACCINATED!!!! Not to forget about children. What’s the point of leaving the Children Unvaccinated?!? They will ALSO keep passing it around.

    • sorry what is your point?

  • Short reminder: . "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord." Acts 3:19 KJV . "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" 1. John 1:9 KJV . "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved" Romans 10:9 KJV . Our HEAVENLY FATHER bless you in the mighty name of JESUS CHRIST

    • thanks so much for the religious nonsense

  • Loved it!

  • Let's be real fouchie lied to us about masks. And he did that because national security is you preserving the nation. Not making sure people live. So despite me being vaccinated I see that he should be in prison or at least fired

  • this is harsh, but I really hope Tucker Carlson gets Co-Vid.

  • Oh, thanks. Now I'm gonna have that f--kin' "Guinea Pig" song stuck in my head all day.

    • "...From point A, to point B!..."🤪😄

  • Looking back now, people preferred virus over vaccine? To the ICU you go. Rather throw the vaccine as they expires. Then blame everything on China. Must look real good 🤮🤮🤮.

  • Great video. Get the vac people. Grow up.

  • Remember most people had COVID and came out smiling??????????

    • Adding to what eeeaten says, or the ones who survived with organ damage?

    • except for the ones that died?

  • So, there I was listening to your segment, enjoying it as I always have & then u made that comment abt Kennedy's head coming through his mouth!!!! U have made me actually reconsider my thoughts abt u just based on thar unbelievably horrific comment. Holy shit, John...what were u thinking...apparently nothing at all. Wow!!!

    • @seigeengine Well, Siege, I've been in the real world a very very long time & have come to find that there are always going to be pple who will say, think or do something quite contrary to how I feel & I guess u r just another one of those. I have a superb sense of humor & know which subjects r not to be made fun of...apparently u think otherwise & for that I find it very difficult to believe that u should think that a joke, dark or light, made abt JFK's being murdered in front of the world as somehow an acceptable subject to be made fun of. U r wrong...plain & simple. So get over my comments & move on.

    • @Chiclet Humans have and will continue to make humour of dark subjects. Making jokes is even a way humans handle unpleasant things. Once again, if you find jokes like this unpleasant, that's fine, but the real world is going to suck for you, because people do this a lot.

    • @seigeengine And, yes I'm defensive...it's a subject well worth being defensive abt. Read my other reply to u.

    • @seigeengine Are u even old enough to understand the situation he is referring to? I think not or u would have made a different response. I watched this with horror at the moment it happened & still have the same recoiling reaction today as I did the day it happened. To make light of it even at this late date is almost sacrilegious & disrespectful. So, u r either too young to have seen it, in which case I will excuse your response or u r old enough to have seen it & just don't give a shit, in which case your comment is just plain unacceptable...but it explains alot abt what kind of person u r. John Oliver was way over the line on his "joke" & I'm sure he too is well aware of it by now. I urge u to seriously take some time & look up JFK's murder, watch it (there's plenty of news clips to choose from,) THEN let me know what u think. Seriously, I'd be very curious to hear your remarks afterwards.

    • @Chiclet lol, very defensive.

  • The dashing chair partly tumble because moustache appropriately shock regarding a tasteful piano. naive, hideous high silk

  • The worst part about all of this is the fact that no matter what anyone says or does about how the vaccine works, the Anti-vaxxers won’t believe you. We’ve gone so far down the rabbit hole of lies, no one knows where the hole out is

  • Vaccine Cicada lmao

  • But who is going to test it ? I guess they don't care as long it's not themselves

    • The vaccines started being tested 18 months ago now, are fully approve in many countries, with the pfizer vaccine now even being approved in the USA.

  • 💉🦠🧬☠️

    • illiterate? try emojis!

  • This guy it’s trying too hard 🤡 🥤 🍿 😎

  • Very bias report

    • @Amber Kelly take your experimental vaccine and let's see what happens in 2 years

    • please give an example of an unbiased report and please don't say fox news cause then i'll know you're trolling

    • @None None the word is biased. you can't defend your assertion? who is the doofus here?

    • @eeeaten watch the video dufus

    • how so?

  • Wait till people find out the "common cold" is actually primarily caused by 4 types of coronavirus...

  • That Joe Rogan remark aged well

  • We REALLY NEED to get vaccinated? Is this a commercial? Because at the moment CONDOMS are less reliable than our natural immunity to COVID! Why do we need a VACCINE unless we're over 70?

    • more vaccines = less dead folks. it's not complicated david.

    • Advertising that you don't know how to use a condom correctly is a weird argument.

  • im already vaccinated ffs

  • This dude said "the world's greatest sceintist " lol

  • 176,000,000 people in the USA have already tested it for you.

  • The vaccine is free. No copay, no insurance, no citizenship required.

  • This is what intelligent looks like to stupid people...

    • @FOTM FOMO A sign of low IQ is to say Trumps name when the conversation has nothing to do with Trump. Sooo, you were saying?

    • Trump supporters think John Oliver looks intelligent? That’s amazing! That means they’re finally getting some sense

  • Now Joe Rogan says maybe you're not fine, but just take dewormers for cattle!

  • Considering that Iceland cases are skyrocketing in the vaccinated, and Israel have as many hospitalizations now as their previous wave - I guess this video didn’t age well.

  • I’m using this opportunity to appreciate Dr Igudia on SLflow for his herbs medication that I used in curing my herpes infection

  • Love from India 🇮🇳❤️

  • As someone from a third world country, I'm envious that US even have the privilege to have so many unfilled appointments. Meanwhile, countries like us here in Southeast Asia are getting desperate to get more supply for vaccines because so many people are in need of it yet are finding it difficult to get vaccinated because of lack of supply. Then countries like the US still have so many people not going to their appointments...

  • Vaccines are completely safe. That is why companies like Phizer and Moderna have the stipulation in their contracts that they cannot be sued for any side effect.

    • @seigeengine I would say heartattack and blood clot is pretty severe. Happened to 2 friends of mine a couple of weeks after 2nd shot. Regarding muffin man. I predict you will se a decline in national BMI . It's a nasty little virus. But to me the vaccine seems rushed. Not ready for marked.

    • @StRommel Vaccines have been in the market for a long time too. (but this vaccine hasn't!) neither has these new muffins on offer at your local bakery. (but you can sue the muffin man!) but only after you get sick, so that doesn't really do you any good, and it may not be clear what caused your sickness, especially if, say, we're pretending it manifests years after use of the muffins. By then the harm done could be enormous. And see, that's the issue. It has now been nearly 18 months since these vaccines started being tested in Humans. There have been some side effects here and there, but nothing significant. So your entire narrative relies on the idea that harm will only manifest a minimum of, say, 2 years after exposure. If you got sick today, there's little to no chance you could trace it back to muffins you ate 2 years ago, and nobody would be looking. Doesn't that... sort of imply... muffins might be MORE dangerous? Is this really the time to be spreading fear about vaccines for no reason instead of fighting the muffin man's manufactured malignant muffin menace!?!?!?

    • @seigeengine Muffins have been in the marked for about 1000 years and If you get sick from a muffin you can sue the muffin moguls.(On the side I think a ban on muffins would have an effect on redusing covid deaths in the US. )

    • Vaccines are not inherently safe. That is why we test them, and collect data on them continuously, even after they've been released to the public. You know, kind of like how muffins are not inherently safe. Yet, I highly doubt you've ever even considered that a muffin bought in a store would be dangerous to you in any way more serious than simply being a bit of a bad dietary choice.

  • I came back to rewatch this episode because I have famy who refuses to get vaccinated and then I see Joe Rogan who at this moment has covid.

  • Why do you have to wear a mask after you're vaccinated? I thought they worked? So I can still get covid if I'm vaccinated? There are more variants coming? They're developing the vaccine in pill form now? Most of the people in the ICU are vaccinated? Manufacturers can't be held reliable? Yeah no I'm not getting vaccinated. Cope.

    • "Most of the people in the ICU are vaccinated?" No, the opposite.

  • so all the people saying the vaccine is shit are not wearing masks or wearing it wrong when found in public

  • I am (not) proud to be an American… 🤦‍♀️

  • “it might mutate and make the vaccine redundant” cut me in delta times where my vaccine doesnt work as well anymore

    • Vaccines are still highly effective against Delta... provided you have both shots.

  • As a History undergraduate I am not going to take offense at what you said but rather educate you upon why the Tuskegee study is not taught in History but rather in Psychology courses. A lot of the Tuskegee study, Standford prison experiment, and other unethical studies are mostly taught not in History but rather in Psychology due to it being scientifically based. Although Psychology is considered a soft science comparatively to others it still studies predominantly the biological human mind and some of its previous notions using History as evidence. In Psychology I was able to learn about these studies because they are primarily rooted in how we do our research methods and studies today. It is not to say that History classes are lacking but instead that History and Psychology should be taken together because they both study the condition of being human and what it means. If there has been anything that I have learned in both courses it is that they both tell stories of horrors that have taken place due to human carelessness, selfishness, arrogance, and neglect. Personally I believe the Tuskegee study is nothing compared to James Marion Sims (Father to Modern Gynecology) who mutilated enslaved black women's vaginas for his successes. Sims has only followed a seemingly normal historic bell curve of a slave holder's mentally abusive role. He would not be the first man to do something like this I mean take a harsh look at Thomas Jefferson and him raping a black woman constantly and we understand that History and Psychology go hand in hand when studying the human condition. When horrors of a psychological mentally are constantly perpetuated and repeated as a normalcy with no ties to reality or time how can we say it is just one instance of this happening. It even happens presently in front of our faces and eyes everyday on mass media platforms that seemingly have no end to what has already begun this is what I have learned as a History undergraduate. Thank You.

    • The US government conducting inhumane experiments on people without their knowledge or consent is very much a matter of historical relevance. In fact, I'd argue it's far more relevant to history than psychology, unless you're studying the psychology of nazi states and their human rights abuses.

  • John, I love you.

  • I heard the vaccine will make you gay.

  • Peadtrician is crazy if she thinks some Turkish Doctors in Germany want to kill black Americans.

    • @seigeengine Nope.

    • @Sleep Cove Me, cuz I'm got both lilz.

    • @seigeengine lInsults versus logic. I know which one wins lolz.

    • @Sleep Cove Sorry, I wasn't aware your mother birthed you off a balcony.

    • @seigeengine this 2021. Again you would be crazy or low IQ if you think the US government and the 100ks of people involved in the vaccine rollout were involved in some great conspiracy.

  • Both Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon have said unvaccinated people should no longer get beds in hospitals. And I think that will happen. I hope it happens. Vaccinations would have completely finished the virus by now. But... if not, we have to let the crazy Trumpist unvaccinated people die off on their own.

  • Everyone can’t take the VACCINE, but I’m glad JOHN OLIVER HAS A MEDICAL DEGREE that I can rely on. The CDC is full of BS. I’m Black and healthy so no vaccine for me. This isn’t Ebola!

  • you are not a scientist dude, you are just giving us summaries of what medical specialist give to the public, you have no way of testing the vaccines to know how ideal it is for humans. Just saying.

    • He never said he was one. Also yes he gives summaries of what medical experts research concluded. What is the negative? Yes he doesn’t test them but he lacks the expertise to do so. And if you are suggesting that somehow all doctors from every country who are working with or researching this vaccine are somehow collectively corrupt so that they hide side effects or lie about its effect, then I don’t know how to help you anymore. Because if you think about the scientists who in the past were in fact paid of you realise that it only happened on an incredibly small scale and that alone should make you realise that the coordination of this supposed conspiracy would be so complicated that it becomes impossible.

  • You just know that that idiot's answer to question at 24:27 is something like, "Donald trump and tucker finally approved it as safe . .

  • 3:27 "The more the virus circulates, the more we'll see mutations that make it more dangerous, possibly allowing it to evade the vaccine completely, putting us all the way back to square 1." The Delta Variant: "Allow me to introduce myself"

    • now the mu variant.

    • @seigeengine Don't worry I agree, and I've looked at those studies as well. I just meant that we didn't reach a herd immunity threshold fast enough and the whole reason we're nearing square one again (at least in my state) is because of people who could've gotten the vaccine but didn't

    • I mean, the delta variant doesn't evade the vaccine completely. Dozens of studies have shown the vaccines are still highly effective against the delta variant, despite it's greater transmissibility.

  • They also think the earth is flat fyi.

  • I want to be in an egg

    • I also want you to be in an egg.

  • I had respect for you.. and even you are in general right. Technically you fallen in pit of fanatics. So it's seems Walid to write this joke.... Then so you are sure your boss wants us all to be vaccinated :P

  • 3:08 - Joe Rogan says I'm probably fine. Oh that aged like milk. How's the 'rona going, Joe?

  • Children, come get your Fauchi Ouchies, they’re good for YOU and they are ALL FREE!!! (as are the providers… of any liabilities🧐) slflow.info/town/rpabm4CasJaqpq4/video

  • Picture this: You’re on the Titanic. The ship is sinking. All the lifeboats are taken. Leonardo Decaprio found a piece of floating plank and made a makeshift floatation device. You refuse to get on because it was “rushed”. You drown.

    • In your analogy, the person who refuses to get on it has a 100% chance of dying. Covid death chance is almost 0% depending on the age group.

    • @Taranizs you clearly didn't read the comment, cause we're talking about her not him.

    • You clearly didn't watch to the end of the movie, cause he fu@$ing died anyway.....

    • @StRommel “Complications”

    • It would seem like while he did float, he died from hypothermia.

  • The B G technology exists. Of course it does. But that was so last century - it's all moved way past micro tech. But on to another topic...John, shhhhh! You're not meant to refer to the other ones that have been tried before- for reasons we won't go into. Summary: John, All in all I think you need to do a lot more due diligence. I'm not sure what the 95% refers to but it's not what you think it is. Unfortunately it looks as if "herd immunity" is out- just not possible with the current suite of products. A July 2021 Israeli study indicates they are obsolete against the new flavour. The pregnant women, mmmm..doubtful, they would have been eliminated from the study in any event, and, of course, when considering risks one needs to look at the medium to long term- so just not possible to make pronouncements around safety at this early stage.

  • Holy shit! I just caught that he repeated the CIA's version of the JFK assassination! His face wasnt exploded...it was the back of his head....and that was 21 out of the 22 original doctors in texas statement.

  • Did he just describe what happened with Delta and Mu? 🤔

  • I think it's great Fox readily hires the mentally disadvantaged.

    • Ironically Fox Has A Vaccine/Testing Mandate.

  • Vaccine won't protect you while you're in line for the vaccine. But the WHO gives a f*** about that. Meanwhile, mere existence of vaccines wouldn't even be strictly necessary to produce the statistical results the WHO is describing. If you get covid while standing in line for the vaccine, symptoms will emerge fast enough that you'll be defined as unvaccinated. If the vaccination process doesn't make you sick, then you're defined as vaccinated. There you have it: 98% vaccine efficacy even without any vaccine.

    • There were no lines when I went and got vaccinated, either time. Also, that was moronic. Stop thinking, you're no good at it.

  • 9:10 thank you for pointing this out. No every unvaccinated person is a vehement anti vaxxer. They are just trying to make best decision

  • I used to think Oliver was a free and intellectual thinker and not just a repeater of what political managers rant.

    • "He said something I disagree with, so he doesn't have his own opinions!" Typical nutjob.

  • Would you still stand by now, 09-02-2021, what you said in this video? Go to the CDC's official site and search for studies published in 2019 and earlier on viruses, masks, lockdowns and distancing. THEY are the truth. Hint* They will be 180 degrees from the current narrative.

    • There were basically zero good studies on the matter prior to that date, and the best that were available suggested that all those things work.

  • lets not forget abou that kid a week after getting his shot died from being hit by a drunk driver because the shot made him magnetized..... im not joking someone really said this

  • Why are you telling people the jab will protect people from getting the disease? It will not! They state that right on the cdc. It does not keep you from getting it, and it does not keep you from passing it. It helps you stay out of the hospital and keeps you asymptomatic. Which could actually cause you to pass it along unknowingly. If you want to get the jab go ahead, stop nagging everyone and trying to force people to get a medicine that has not been fully tested.

  • Thank you John Oliver for always choosing topic that actually matter and or that I didn't know matter.I hope you and your staff stay safe 👍

  • I'm from Australia and I'm booked in for my vaccination soon. I want to get it before my kids are forced to. But surely you can understand the hesitations people have over a new or in some case rushed vaccines. I will do it ihave my own hesitations.

    • @Harley Sure, I get that. I haven't heard of children getting sick, except when they have a pre-existing condition.

    • I'm not talking about the crazy anti Vac guys. I'm not arguing they aren't safe. I'm just worried about my family. I believe it's the right thing to do that's why I'm doing it. But I'm not sure. And lots of people feel the same. We are on the same side of the argument but I just have more reservations than you. I hope that's because you are super informed and completely right. My interest in the whole thing is centred around my kids. When it comes to them I want to be as sure as I can. But I can't convince myself it's safer for them to have a vaccine than the virus. They are not sick or old or vulnerable.

    • @Harley Even among scientists and doctors, you can find a few that spread false information if you look hard enough. Heck, there are even antivax nurses. These are the few that antivaxxers look for and listen to. The vast majority ARE confident that this vaccine is just as safe as any previous vaccine. It has not been tested less, just faster.

    • What do you do for a living what expertise do you have because the experts I can find that want share their opinions aren't so confident. But like I said it's a necessary risk considering covid. And I only brought it up because people who have expertise in medicine aren't as sure as they are with past vacancies that have been longer tested. I'm no expert are you ?

    • "this is a dangerous way to test a new medication" They are not testing it and it not a new medication. It has been thoroughly tested before it was made available to the public. You cannot test medication on the general public. mRna has been used for different kinds of medication before. Of course you can't be a 100% certain. But they know the risk is super tiny. It is insignificant compared to the risk Covid poses. I really don't understand why people keep bringing up this "argument". It's like saying eating an apple is dangerous because there's a chance the tree the apple grew on was standing in contaminated ground or something. Why are people scared of something that has a super tiny risk for a super tiny amount of people when that something saves you from something else that is known to pose a huge risk and has already killed 4.5 million people? It's insane, tbh.

  • Vaccine is sth that prevents contracting...not transmiting...as it's all about strains...so all that shit show and attacking is silly...just like flu, covid is contagious respiratory illnesses...replicating and mutating goes hand in hand...I've gave up flu jabs after trying twice...not only I got bad reaction and ended up sick both times, might be to my severe allergy/histamin problems...but also I've ended up sick after month or two contracting actual flu...so, no I won't get the jab...I had covid...I've beat it...so I have natural anibodies...and I don't really get people like you getting all fired up, insulting etc

  • Get the f,n vaccine Mike! Loved that part.

  • Kennedy mouth/head remark almost knocked me out of my chair; pure genius--

  • Commercials are no longer (only) those annoying things in the middle of your favorite TV show, these days they use everything, the 5 O'clock news is one, but the most powerful is comedy, make fun of the idiots who don't take the jab... I call this "pathological marketing" and this is not the only form of it "imagine if you spread covid to your mum and she dies" is another. What jones is talking about is the prolines they used to stop the vaccine derived spike protein from fusing with the cell, funny they showed jones explaining the science instead of the scientists who said it... It was a computational study predicting the formation of prions, but the true answer (that jones didn't say, because he's a nut) is "we don't know because the studies haven't been done"... That's the point.

  • 17:30 you mean like all the context that's missing from the 'covid death' stats?

    • Okay, here's the real context. US alone saw a 500k~ spike in deaths in 2020, despite deaths per year being INCREDIBLY stable for the prior several decades. The real covid death toll is significantly higher than official counts.

  • You would think republican news outlets would be championing the vaccine hard. It's all their anti-vaxxer voters who are dying from it.

    • Nah. They know to give their audience of braying morons what they want, even if it kills them. Thanks to voter ID laws, gerrymandering, forcing people in black communities to wait hours in line to vote, etc., millions of conservatives could drop dead today, and it would only marginally diminish the GOP's political influence.

  • Biden and Harris didn’t help the vaccination efforts at all.
